I won't use Lenovo anymore due to their poor and crappy decisions on neutering onboard video by forcing single data rate mode with soldered ram.

Also, the fabric kills it for me.

I'm looking for something in the same price range with similar specs and size. I tried out the HP Pavilion from Costco but it was 15.6 inches, the build quality wasn't that great. I'd appreciate anyone's input

Best Buy had an amazing deal a few weeks ago for a YOGA 7i (Student Deal $649) which I ended up buying and RETURNING. Let me start by saying that it is a very nice product and the quality was excellent. However, the issue with some of these YOGAs is how sharp the edges of the laptop are. I could not rest my palm on the edge of the keyboard as the outside edge of the laptop felt like a sharp knife. It reminded me of the old Macbooks. I could get comfortable and I ended up returning the laptop. For some, this might not be an issue, but I prefer a "curved" edge.

Seems like a really good deal, looking at what you get for the price. I really like the weight compared to my laptop I have now. The only thing that seems weird to me is the fabric cover. I feel like I would miss the 10 key that I have now but I think I could live with that. Does anybody know if you can expand the storage on this laptop, whether that be with another SSD "stick" or even a traditional hard drive?

There's only one ssd slot and that is occupied by the current drive. You can remove it and add larger one.

I agree the Lenovo was a great deal but I ended up returning mine since I could never get the Wifi to reconnect after putting the device to sleep or closing the lid. It would take forever for the Wifi to reconnect.

Is there anyone who signed up through the recent membership promo that's willing to spare their $40 off $250 costco.com order coupon? I'm trying to help out a college student who needs a new laptop (they're not buying this one—they're going for the hp that's currently on sale for $249). Please dm me. Thank you!

This or the LG Gram 15.6" ($100 less at $799) at Costco?

One can also try with Costco chat to get the $50 of $500 and apply to these laptop deals.
