Has anyone tried to trade-in a laptop? If so, what are the trade-in conditions?
  • Does it need to be bootable?
  • If the laptop disk is formatted (OS erased), then it will not boot.
  • Need to boot with battery?

Hey everyone, I ordered the Book pro 360 i7, 8gb, 256hd. I've used it two days and have two observations. It tends to run warm sitting in my lap. Also, the battery drain seems significant. Grant it, I was performing all the initial windows updates. Today I fully charged the battery. Currently it's at 96% and says it will last 2 hours? I haven't really touched the default power settings, so it's running at the recommended optimized settings. Any other comments from folks who have this laptop? Samsung says the battery can last up to 21 hours. If I get 2 hours, this will go back.

I suspect that the estimate is going by the extensive updating it did. Us it a few days to a week before ever judging battery life (biggest mistake most people do).

But do give us an update please. Do you have the 15" or 13"?

Hello. I bought the 13.3. I'll run it a few days and see. I noticed over the past couple of hours it has fluctuated a bit, from 10 hours to the current 5.33 at 77%. However, it has dropped 30% in less than 2 hours.

Didn't stack for me either. New account. First order. Did get my Rak CB posted ($146.25). Think they gave me 15%,and I was expecting 10%. Sold the buds for $100 cash.

Also bought the S7 tablet and traded in my s5e. If I sell the buds from that, I think I'll be at a profit for the upgrade. Also caved on updating the Note 20 Ultra as I have no faith I'll see a flat screen note with 512gb or a card slot. So I'll ride the Note 20 Ultra for quite awhile I'm sure. Shame, because the standard Note 20 fit the bill, but it couldn't be my sole phone due to the 128gb. Traded in the Note 10+ and got free Buds Pro with it.

And I have no issues with excessive heat on the 15" in my lap. And not sure where the build quality criticism is coming from. I had an xps 13 and spectre x360. While both are more rigid, they're also both heavier, thicker and sporting 2 less inches of screen real estate. I bought the Inspiron 16+ and returned it without opening it. My sister bought the Inspiron and after playing with it, I'm glad I kept the Samsung. I'll take lighter magnesium and a little more flex for the weight and thinness trade off any day. I don't treat a laptop like my phone so I don't get the complaints.

How often does a deal like this come about for those of you paying attention? On my shopping list is the 360 Pro and would love to slick deal it lol.. don't want to wait to BF so will be looking to get sooner than later.. thanks a whole lot for the feedback
