Maybe I'm just an idiot, but I create an Apple ID successfully (I'm PC/Android person), and then go to log-in only to be told, "Sign in with your Apple ID. Before you can sign in on the web, first sign in to the Apple TV app on your iPhone or iPad. On a computer, sign in to Apple TV or iTunes."

I go to the Apple TV site, and do this and it's the same repeated loop.

Just switched from Military One to Military Magenta and this is what we lost:

- Netflix will be $2 more a month
- No more family allowances (didn't use)
- Now only one free hour of in-flight wifi instead of unlimited (didn't use)

Won't go into effect until my next billing cycle.

We have 6 lines, I didn't know about the $10 kickbacks or I would have been all over that. I think the lines were maxed at 6 when we went on military.

Don't know if it's worth it to be eligible for promos, but I liked Apple TV+, I had one free year with a new phone and Apple extended it twice so I got 20 months free. I've been missing it and was going to do the Target promo until I saw this.
Kickback ended before the One plan ended so not all One plans had it. You possibly never had it as an option. It sure seems like you're losing more than gaining but where you didn't use the stuff I see your point. Either way it helps others thinking of doing the same.

Sorry, it appears your account is ineligible for this promotion. Your denial reason is:
Looks like your current rate plan is not eligible for this promotion. For help, T-Mobile customer dial 611 from your handset or call 1-800-937-8997. Sprint customer call 1-888-211-4727.
Thanks. The site kept crashing when I entered a phone number. I'll try again later. If not, I'm not all that upset as I really would not watch it.

Ok, now I figured this out. Since I created an Apple ID for the first time, I then needed to download the iTunes App for Windows from the Microsoft Store, and finish completion/enrollment of the Apple ID there. Then, go back to the website once that is completed/confirmed, and good to go (7 day free trial, followed by 1 year free).

Can anyone who already has an existing free trial confirm that when they sign up for this, it gets extended by a year?

Update: it worked. I tried to redeem the Target one as well but it said only for new subscribers. If are a new subscriber, I recommend getting the Target one first and then Sprint/T-Mobile one.

ONE Unlimited Plan 55+ @ 2lines $60 taxes and fees incl - no go

So If I pay T-Mobile $10 more a month - I'm eligible - NOT worth it..

I did not have the existing, but when all was said and done - it showed 7 day free trial, followed by 1 year free, and first payment September 2022.

Be warned, you will change from Netflix Standard to Netflix Basic switching plans. If you subscribe to Netflix Standard than you will be charged $5 more a month.
Which is the cost of Apple TV+ so people should really see what they're giving up before switching. I almost did until I read all of the downgrades I will have to do, even if I don't use all of them. I already have one free lone that I don't even use, ended up giving it to me nephew to use as his phone line.

I think you can stack the Target promo with this one. Other's have said they've stacked the Target promo with their current free year from Apple.

On a side note about kickbacks...Not sure if it's just me or what but anyone ever notice how your data usage amount always seems to stay stuck for the last few days of your billing cycle and then BAM! you're over 2GB?

I usually monitor my data usage on the app to see if I only have a few days left and I'm under 2GB, if I am I will be conscious of it and then try to stay under since it's just few more days of the billing cycle left. For example, I kept checking this month and I was at 1.4GB for quite a few days, I thought that was accurate since I'm home a lot nowadays, then all of a sudden I get my bill this morning and it shows I had 3.1GB of data. I k ow the app says it can take 24 hrs to update data usage but it had been a few days and no change, might be glitch, might be purposeful to get you over the 2GB, or maybe I'm just crazy and paranoid.

You'll have to switch from Military ONE to Military Magenta. Its the same basic cost but you'll lose your $10.99 Netflix on Us credit (if you had that) and have to select either the SD/one screen Netflix for free or the HD/two screen for $5/month. I was paying $3 a month for Netflix on Us HD with family allowances on Military ONE so my cost is $2 higher a month on Military Magenta.

Also, if you change your plan to Military Magenta, it won't take effect until your next billing cycle so you won't be able to sign up for this promotion until that date.

Got the code from T-mo but it doesn't work on the Apple side "This offer can't be redeemed with your current subscription." This has to be because I have Apple TV+ included with my "Apple One" subscription.

Just a heads up for those on the Apple One plans. I'm on "Premier" ($29.99/mo)

I've questioned kickback and called T-Mobile as I have the phones track data and not surprisingly T-Mobiles record is always higher than the phone. I actually had an extra line SIM card not in a phone not get kickback once and called in and they quickly resolved it and put a $10 credit on my account. I suggest all set up their phone to start the data tracking the same day your bill cycle begins and start comparing numbers. T-Mobile is shady.
