The 18pk at Walmart in store (at least in my area) is regularly 4$….so….
They used to make these thinner, which I preferred. Had more of an exfoliating effect. Guess they got a new manufacturer within the last year or two, and now they're thicker.
All the better for scrubbing the dirt off I say...

They fall apart after a couple of uses. Not a lot or some use but literally a couple.
