worth a try for $10. I broke my old cheap walmart one trying to crush ice..
word to the wise, don't use these for ice, it will burn them up. Get crushed ice from your refrigerator if it's got one of those grinders.

I own one of these, bought last year for the same price, it is great for sauces, puree's and smoothies with fresh fruit and a bit of ice. It has been holding up well and still running strong.

I know that $10 is a rather risk-free gamble on a kitchen appliance, but for me it's been more than worth it. I've had this for YEARS and it has worked perfectly for my use cases - grinding spices, blending small-batch chutneys/sauces, and pureeing veggies. It's not as feature-packed as my $200 Ninja but I pick this over the Ninja for the stuff I mentioned. It ends up being used 2-4 times a week. Being able to throw everything in the dishwasher is a plus too.

We have a Ninja that I use for my smoothies. I bought 2 of these last time at this price to supplement when the other stuff has not gone through the dishwasher and I am too lazy to wash it. Have used one of them 3 or 4 times. At $10, this is a good buy. Would not spend much more.

Got this a few weeks ago at same price...I've used both large cup for smoothies and smaller cup for spices about 7 times already and I'm really happy with it at this price...can't speak on the longevity, it's barely been a month but does a great job blending and grinding...I haven't used ice, mostly protein shakes and I did use frozen berries which was somewhat equivalent to ice and it handled it well..no complaints other than it not being free shipping and having to go to best buy to pickup which always seems to be a drawn out process at my local best buy...

Bought this at the same price during the last daily deal. Compared to my other smaller blenders this one was almost twice as loud and did just an OK job at blending. Cup plastic seems to be okay quality. Did not keep long enough to test blade/motor longevity.

Bought this last go time around and has served me well. Usually just put some sort of milk, a frozen banana, ice and protein powder and blends just fine. My blendtec broke and customer service wait times were a nightmare so I got fed
Up and bit the bullet on this one. For 10$ I'm not complaining!
