I'm kind of on my last leg of my old DC25 that lasted for over 12yrs. I been thinking about getting this v11, but also am thinking if I can hold off until Black Friday for possible better deals.

I bought the Walmart one this morning. Now I am wondering if this one is better and worth extra $30
EDIT: This answer is taken from BB site Answer section.
Q - "What is the difference between the V11 Torque Drive and the V11 Animal vacuums?"
A - Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson V11™ Torque Drive and Animal models are very similar. Both will feature twice the suction of any cord-free vacuum, whole-machine filtration, our powerful V11 motor, a pressure sensor that signals that maintenance is needed when it detects a drop in airflow, and a high torque cleaner head that uses stiff nylon bristles to drive deep into carpet, and soft, anti-static carbon fiber filaments that capture dust from hard floors. On the Dyson V11™ Torque Drive, you will have an LCD screen that reports remaining battery life and maintenance alerts right on the screen. On the Dyson V11™ Animal you's have an LED screen that shows remaining run time. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

FWIW, Vacuum Wars was useful for comparison:

To me the more important issue is not the price. When it comes to buying Dyson refurbs, its a crapshoot in terms of the quality of the unit you get. Walmart is safer because you are allowed to return it if you don't like what you get. Dyson does not allow returns on refurb units so you'll have to deal with their customer service. So you're stuck with it if you get buyers remorse.
If you're set on getting the Dyson, I'd just get the Torque Drive. $30 is not that different and you get some extra features. If you are not 100% committed to the purchase, go with Walmart.

I'll throw a monkey wrench into your decision process. Costco has the Tineco Pure One S12 EX Pro on special event. It has a boatload of attachments. Many reviewers have given higher ratings to the Tineco over the Dyson V11 including Consumer Reports. The only drawback I see is the smaller dustbin.
I've always had Dysons, but I am tempted to try the Tineco. If I don't like it, Costco has an excellent return policy.

The Tineco also includes an extra battery.

With Walmart, u can buy 3 or 4 yr warrenty. Something might come handy with dyson refurb. I think 3yr is $35 and 4yr is $50 more.
With the Tineco, you get a soft roller, two swappable batteries, and a ton of attachments. If you have hardwood floors, you will want a soft roller. The Dyson soft roller would cost you an extra $150 making the Costco deal comparable. This same model Tineco is $100-200 more elsewhere.

We've been very happy with the Tineco Floor One S3 wet vacuum so we've been looking at their stick vacuums as well. Went ahead and ordered the Tineco Pure One S12 EX Pro since we have a Costco membership.
My V6 has both heads. The V11 videos seem to me to sell this as it's not needed with the torque head. Also from the manual
Your High Torque XL cleaner head has a slider
control to adjust the suction of the cleaner head.
To select the suction required, move the suction
control slider on top of the cleaner head.
+
Maximum suction for ground in dust and debris

soiled carpets and rugs.

–

For vacuuming deep pile carpets or rugs and flooring where
you experience greater resistance.
For vacuuming lightly soiled floors, and delicate flooring such
as vinyl, parquet and lino.
