Valhalla is 100-200hrs of "Meh". It's never bad. Once in a while (ok maybe 3 times) it's amazing. But most of the time it's just overwhelmingly OK. It's the okayest game I've ever played.

Just an FYI. If you do get the Valhalla PS4 version or Yakuza: Like a Dragon PS4 version, you can unlock the PS5 versions digitally for free. The condition is that they do require the PS4 disks to be unlocked and played each time. I had thought Judgment also qualified, but it didn't when I tried.

I will say that Odyssey is a better game, but Valhalla is a good Assassin's Creed game, if that helps. I'm about 20 hours in and I like it so far.

I've been able to get PS5's for me and my buddies with no bots. You just gotta follow people on Twitter and you'll start picking up tips and tricks on what to do. If you see it go online on the PSDIRECT store, then open up multiple browsers and incognito. You'll be placed randomly for each browser you open, so chances are higher. If you see it go online on Bestbuy then what you gotta know is they release in waves. You might be able to add to cart but then it will say no stores are available for pickup. All you gotta do is just keep refreshing and more stores will populate since they release in waves.

I've landed a few for my group as well, it became a hobby for a bit. Requires patience and persistence. They should be available sooner rather than later

Neat thing happened to me recently... I've been trying for a long time with Sony's Direct site, always making it to the que, but always coming up short once in it. Then I just gave up trying. Sony must've been keeping track, cuz about 5+ months after quitting trying, and their databases showing I've never logged on with a PS5 after that (implying I never got one), they sent me a link for a special 2 hour event where I would be guaranteed one. I bit, and got it a week later.

For 25 dollars Valhalla is great. I paid full price. You might die of natural causes before you 100% that game.

I have Valhalla and about 70 hours in and still a lot of story left. I enjoy it missed Odessy but for sure I paid 50$ and 25$ would make it slick!

150 hours in. Its a damn grind, but the leveling up is pretty fast. Level 410 already. Its worth it

Bout the truest thing I've read about it. I have around 200 hrs into it on ps5. I did everything but the fishing and hunting missions before they started updating everything. I haven't played it since right after the Yule Festival. Once the DLCs go on sale then I'll buy them. But I dont think they're worth the full $60.

Yes this, I've purchased 4 PS5s without bots near release.. assume it's much easier now. If you want one enough you can get one.

i'm currently playing valhalla on the series x and so far after 20 hours, the story and setting is kind of dull. I'm hoping it gets better. It's kinda buggy, but the thing that upsets me the most is the poor hdr implementation. it makes everything seem like it's covered in a dense fog. aside from turning off hdr, no other settings have made it better. looks somewhat better with hdr off, if a bit over saturated. sucks, origins and odyssey looked great on ps4 pro

Leveling up is so fast that they sell a micro transaction to make it faster…

The game would be much much better if the leveling was actually a lot faster. Instead it's potentially hundreds of hours of mostly meaningless grind. I would like the game a lot more if it was a ~40-80 hours.
