This one doesn't require you to have a water line, which is ideal if you want water in an area without a line.

Because a water hookup isn't always possible. In my instance: our office in a building my company rents isn't near the bathrooms and getting a plumber to run a line isn't worth the cost and headache of getting permission from the landlord, getting permits, etc.

was thinking aout getting a fridge to keep water in for my garage - this is a lot cheaper and alot less hassle! We use refillable bottles all the time anyways!

its very loud when its cooling the water. i used to keep it off and drink room temp water.

only lasted a year , compressor died
