Has anyone purchased Ray-Bans before through these Woot deals, and can confirm they are authentic?

The Amazon reviews are mixed with some saying fake. I looked only at the Justin reviews though.

Glass lenses are a must at this price range. Costa 580g lenses are a game changer.

Ordered some Costas last time woot had them and got fakes, or at least unusually poor quality "outlet" versions. They gave a partial refund when I complained to CS, so I decided to keep them, because they were still alright quality for that price (at least they had glass lenses). Just don't expect to be getting getting $200 worth of sunglasses here.

I did some light googling and I concur. You might get real, you might get fake. From

How to spot fake Ray-Ban sunglasses?
Original Ray-Ban sunglasses will have "RB" etched onto the corner of the left lens to prove its authenticity. If the etching is missing, or a low quality or painted on the glasses will be fake.

Other signs to spot a fake pair of Ray-Bans include the packaging and way in which they are boxed to ship. The information on the label should correspond with the sunglasses and they should come boxed with a large white shipping label. Authentic Ray-Bans will come with a small booklet, printed flawlessly on top-quality paper.

last time I caved and bought a pair of shades off Woot. They didn't fit very well and I ended up having to pay the $7 or so return shipping fee. Doesn't really seem worth it unless you know they will fit you.

Seems like the woot shades deals always make this site and I'm not really sure there's anything special about these sales. They are simply offloading old or unpopular models. As far as oakleys go, I've found cheaper options for the same shades I was lookin for (for comparison).

Costco has some Ray-Ban [costco.com] sunglasses that actually say they are polarized. Has anyone bought the Costco ones and feel like they are the real deal?

I bought some polarized wayfarers in 2016 from woot on a similar deal. 100% legit and have pretty much worn them everyday since. I'll bite and order some aviators this time.

I have bought the Clubmaster Ray-Bans from Woot a few months back. They say made in China, but quite a few Ray-Bans are made in China now. I've done checks to make sure the glasses are authentic, which they seem to be.

They are alright for the reduced price, but I find the Maui Jim's I got from Cosco deal to be miles better in quality and comfort.
