Shipping is thru FragilePAK and is atrocious. I have mine delivered yesterday on Aug 26 and my order was placed July 4th. TV and deal is great but if you can't pick up in person don't order if you need it before Thanksgiving
FragilePAK has been know to sub-contract the last leg of the delivery.
When they delivered my TV. The delivery guys resembled an Amos & Andy sketch.

Bought this TV last week for about $100 more, and would buy it again at the same price. The 65" is probably the perfect size for most average living rooms as it doesn't overwhelm the room. There's nothing sadder than walking into someone's living room and seeing proof that they spend way too much time on the sofa.

As for burn-in, I'm told that burn-in generally happens when someone leaves the exact same channel on for a long period, and the station's watermark or news ticker remains. You don't want burn-in, vary what you watch.
I'd hardly call having a 75" television proof you spend too much time on the sofa, nor would I call it "sad".

Burn it happens to any OLED over time, depending on what is left on the screen and how many years you've used it.

As others have said, last time they had this deal I ordered July 3rd and received my set on July 26th. Their shipping/FragilePak is sloooow.

In the end TV was in perfect condition though and I'm happy with it so far. The OS is slow when comparing to some other recent sets. I have a Sony X900H and a Hisense U8G and both are faster than the LG C1 when navigating menus/changing settings. LG really needs to work on that imo. Otherwise great set.

I also got $40 in rewards using my Military Star card which isn't bad. No idea what to use it on though...

How much better is the C1 over Cx? Just brightness improvement?

This. It took FragilePak 1.5 months to deliver my cx from aafes. Great deal and all but my gosh shipping is slow as hell.

I doubt anyone's warranty does (JMO). I don't have an issue with burn-in because I don't pause the TV very long or leave it on the news channels with the 'information boxes' in the same spot all the time. So far, so good.
You don't have burn-in because you won the panel lottery.
Many people gently used their TVs and still got burn-in!!

What's your definition of "gently used"? If it has more to do with the panel and how it came from the factory, that's not burn in, that's a dead pixel. Burn in would mean that the TV was displaying the same image repeatedly on the same spot. The only way one would get that is if they were watching the same channel/content and the watermark caused it.

Sooo....because YOU think 65" is the perfect TV size, anyone with a larger TV is "sad" and spends too much time on their sofa....gotcha🙄

Don't be a hater.

Thanks for letting know...
After 15 years in the electronic business that was very informative.

Dude... IF you believe that the ONLY way a TV can incur burn-in is by user error. Well, more power to you.
There are countless stories online of people using their sets for a few months and experiencing burn-in.
Then there's the lucky goofball that had their sets for years on torch mode while playing games 18 hrs per day and the TV was not affected at all.

Really depends on the size of your room.
