Typically Military plans are excluded from the add-a-line promos for T-Mobile, however I got an email specifically targeting Military with this offer.

My guess is they are trying to get some positive publicity after the massive hack they just had.

If you cancel your line before receiving 24 bill credits, you may owe up to the full value of your device (e.g., $216 – OnePlus Nord N200 5G); if canceling your account, you can contact us first to instead make discounted monthly balance payments. Tax on pre-credit price due at sale. Limited-time offer; subject to change. Qualifying credit & service required. If you've canceled lines in past 90 days, you may need to reactivate them first. In stores & on customer service calls, $30 assisted or upgrade support charge may be required. Up to $216 via bill credits; must be active and in good standing to receive credits; allow 2 bill cycles. Max 12/account. May not be combinable with some offers or discounts. 5G: Coverage not available in some areas. Some uses may require certain plan or feature; see T‑Mobile.com. Most Reliable: According to an audit report conducted by independent third party umlaut containing crowdsourced data for user experience collected from January to July 2021. Full details at: www.umlaut.com/en/benchmarking/USA. Fastest: According to Opensignal Awards – USA: 5G User Experience Report July 2021, based on independent analysis of average speeds from mobile measurements recorded during the period March 16 - June 13, 2021 © 2021 Opensignal Limited. Network Management: Service may be slowed, suspended, terminated, or restricted for misuse, abnormal use, interference with our network or ability to provide quality service to other users, or significant roaming. During congestion, heavy data users (>50GB/mo. for most plans) and customers choosing lower-prioritized plans may notice lower speeds than other customers. On-device usage is prioritized over tethering usage, which may result in higher speeds for data used on device. See T‑Mobile.com/OpenInternet for details. My son is on the older Military One plan with the grandfathered One Plus International (I believe that is the name) that has the unlimited hotspot feature.
If he adds a line under this promotion will the second line also receive the hotspot feature?

One Plus International has unlimited hotspot at 5G speed for additional $25 grandfathered. Officially, it's upto 50GB and maybe depriortized depending on traffic. However, I have yet to see deprioritzed even after 200G, or maybe my tower don't have much traffic.

Since grandfathered, you'll need to contact special CS to add this features in new lines....try twitter @TMobileHelp

FYI One Plus International is not compatible with Magenta Military.

Is this the best deal to start a new service w TMobile? I'm a veteran, currently w Verizon. Wife is on AT&T. We're looking to get on a family plan together. Seems like there are offers to off existing contracts/phones. Not sure if it's best to just got to a TMobile store or if Costco would be just as good.
You can goto costco to open military plan...magenta military. Note that historically, military plan did NOT get free add a line promo.

Is the $25 One Plus International per account or per line? Just wondering if there will be an additional $25 fee on top of the new line fee. I have had success getting One Plus Promo added to my free lines on my grandfathered One account with no additional fees but not sure how this would work with the One Plus International add on.
TIA

"One Plus Promotion" is different from "One Plus International". One plus promo is per account or per line where it gives each line additional fast speed hotspot (think less than 20gb per line) and other benefits. One Plus promo was free for limited time, so yours maybe free if u added during that period. Later tmo decided to add fees. For a short time in beginning, One Plus promo can be added per line, but later tmo decide to bring it out to account level.

"One Plus International" is per line where hotspot is unlimited at 5G speed. However fine print indicate deprioritizing after 50GB if tower is busy, but most people usually don't experience this deprioritizing most time. One Plus International also gives free voice calls to 26/30 countries when calling from usa.

This is very informative. I'm chatting with T Mobile to better understand my One Plan. Thank you.
