I'm not old enough for that. I do clearly remember regular price being .25 each with sales sometimes of 5/$1.

edit: also the amount of candy you got per package was alot more too.

I was at Walmart yesterday and by the check outs they had King Size Reese's Peanuts Butter Cups (4 cups), reg size has only 2 cups, for a quarter ($0.25)!

People post non deals here all the time. I've seen bandaids hit front page at regular price lol

The site pretty much started going downhill when it turned into a business where they promote specific brands and retailers while pushing their awful Cashback along with censoring other places for CB or places like Camel.

After the pandemic hit, Great,super,eye watering deals from retailers seem to be fewer and fewer every day. Prices have gone up,labor costs have gone up, shipping costs have gone up,supply chain is having issues, keeping shelves full are issues.
I think that is what is happening if great deals seem fewer nowadays.

It seems like it is getting to the point, if a retailer has an item in stock at the regular price , that is the deal!
