Bestbuy Website shows it as an i5 not an i7.

Wow! Just wow…

That's pretty much low-end everything and should be $500 or less.

Bestbuy lists the graphics card as "High End". That is a flat out lie. This is very low-end. Nvidia doesn't mean high end… 🤦 ♂️

Newegg is trying to sell this for $2600!! 🤯
Nobody is selling laptops with these specs for under $500. The cheapest 3050 ti laptop on SD's was $735, with worse ram, worse screen, worse CPU. Cheapest 3060 in a laptop on SD's was $920.

Is this the best performing laptop? Certainly not, but is it a fair price for the specs? Yes.

No. Just because that's the lowest price for those specs doesn't mean that its a good deal. Those specs are trash for the price.
What's the alternative that you suggest people buy instead of this one? I see none in terms of the performance/price ratio. GTX 1080 was selling for $400, now RTX 3060 is selling for $400.

Don't waste your time by asking question to that guy. He does that to every laptop thread with a graphic card, saying those should be far cheaper without giving any point or alternative. Check couple of his old posts and you'll get what I'm talking about. He would go to a Dell XPS 15 thread saying that it should be less than 1k because it has a RTX 3050 ti

What does that really affect? RTX 3050 Ti at under $1k isn't it a crazy deal, though?

It's just a measure of colour accuracy. I do graphic design and video work, so it'd matter to me. Not sure what the gaming implications are, but mostly I just thought it was a bit of a curiosity to see something cover so little of the gamut. Usually the inaccurate ones still claim like 90%.

Thanks, if you plug into external monitor, should be no problem, right?

Right. It only refers to the built-in display
