I'm not one to bash a deal just to feed my ego or try to be funny. A deal is a deal but this one seems a bit odd. It is mostly pet bowls, waterers, feeders, placemats. I looked at placemats for kitty food and water bowls and they average $21.50. Really? Everything seems to have very inflated prices. This would be a much better deal if they gave you 50% off on a $50 spend instead of overpaying now just to get $25 gift card later. BTW, my kitty placemat was $1.00 from Dollar tree and the kitties seem happy with it ! 😺

I like Chewy. So Chewy fans don't come down on me for this post. Chewy sells many good products at good prices and ships by 2-day or overnight while Amazon and Walmart now ship ONLY by 6 to 8 day ground after waiting 2 or 3 days to ship. BUT I don't pay attention to Chewy "sales" like this anymore because they only include useless toys, bowls, scratching towers etc. Maybe they have some food in these sales but I haven't seen it or it is the bad stuff. I suppose some of these items may be useful to some people but most of them look like dumb junk to me.

I was shopping on Amazon earlier and my "money back" extension popup showed "20% cash back" for Chewy. If I go to the R website directly it only offers 1%. Very interesting....

It's usually "up to" that amount. They only offer higher cash back on certain items or categories.

Just a heads up, you can't use a gift card on any orders where you get a free gift card. Also, you can only apply one gift card per order, and this deal is limited to one free gift card per account.

You guys are nuts. Just because it may not have what you specifically want does not mean that you should trash chewy. Chewy is fantastic. Their prices are not over inflated. It just depends on what it is. Can't compare their prices to the dollar store lol. Do you compare every USB cable deal to dollar store? I bought a steel play pen for around 50 at chewy while petco and PetSmart sold it for 90+. Their customer service is top notch as well. There have been times where I wanted to return something, they just refund me the money and told me to donate the item no questions asked. The only downside is having to meet the 50 minimum for free shipping.
