Maybe yours is defective, or it's in a dead zone for your wifi? I've had a couple of these for over a year now and I can't remember either one disconnecting even once.

I have this clock and I really want to like it. But it constantly disconnects to wifi. It's super annoying to have to unplug and reconnect it every time.

I like clock, good sharp display from across the room with temp too. I turned off the mic on back but I haven't had any problems with it. Speaker is actually pretty decent for its size.

Perhaps it is defective. Even if beside the router, it still disconnects constantly. Glad yours have no issue.

Mine disconnects randomly a few times a year. But I've been very happy with it otherwise. Great simple display for a bedroom where you just want time and weather visible.

I haven't noticed any issues with freezing or disconnecting to wifi like mentioned previously. However, the temperature display on my unit is malfunctioning, so I can't see the outside temp. Other than that it's been working fine. Seems like a cheaply made device, but if it works, it's a great deal. YMMV on possible defects you may encounter.

Mine does the same thing. Was fine for first few months, but now it is 50/50.
