If you are flying for any other reason, then you'll need a certificate and the drone has to be registered - even if it is under 249g.
Another good thing about costco mini 2 deal.
You know what, I decided that I am going to just buy the costco mini 2 deal for now while I am waiting for the Air. For $400 and no license etc...
Is there a website that tell you where you can fly, etc?
There are many situations that I like the shots and videos from the Mini2 better than my M2P.
Not being able to use the smartcontroller with the mini is the lamest thing about the mini.
Essentially the regs exist now (yes, much of which is common sense) because idiots kept idiot-ing. Highly recommend not idiot-ing with a flying projectile. If you think you don't need to bother, you're probably the reason the regs exist.
