During this transitional period it may not be considered a big deal to carry around multiple cables, or make sure you have a cable with a microusb adapter on it, or carry a USB-C to microusb adapter, but eventually after you have enough USB-C devices you'll prefer to replace older devices with USB-C devices so you don't have to juggle cables as often. And a lot of people are already at this point -- sure I have lots of microusb cables, but I rarely use them anymore and that trend continues.
Newsflash: 99.4% of devices in working order today still use micro. what? You don't have any micro cables? you gonna be troubled to buy a micro cable for first time now?
If all you carry in your car or bag or house is USB-C cables, you're doing something wrong. something = you.
