Like others have said though, almost no risk with the Costco return policy, so, have at it and see if it's a big deal to you. Like i said in one of the other ones, if you're using an external display for most of the time, this is one of, if not the best, option!

apparently not many people know this, but its a software that dims it down, uninstalling it, and re installing it seems to fix and make it brighter, or leaving it off. google it, I am glad I found this out before I got mine tomorrow
has something to do with a True Tone feature or something like that.
