I added the offer to my PayPal account. I received an email confirming the offer was added.
I purchased a $50 plastic WalMart gift card with free mail delivery. I used my Discover card for 5% back. Both PayPal and my Discover card show a $40 charge.
WalMart did not allow me to choose PayPal as payment for an eGift card which is why I chose plastic.

Pretty sad that the largest retailer in the world can't differentiate between fraud and legitimate orders.
As far as Paypal is concerned, the offer was "used".
Yet when I contacted Paypal, they knew that the order was cancelled, but they could not put it back in my account.
You may want to contact Paypal and see what they can do for you.

The first order arrived.
The second order disappeared. It disappeared between the FedEx center closest to my home and my home. It was probably stolen because the FedEx employees got wise to what they were.
But since Straight Talk is a Walmart-partnered MVNO, YMMV for non-WM prepaid card purchases.
