I added the offer to my PayPal account. I received an email confirming the offer was added.
I purchased a $50 plastic WalMart gift card with free mail delivery. I used my Discover card for 5% back. Both PayPal and my Discover card show a $40 charge.
WalMart did not allow me to choose PayPal as payment for an eGift card which is why I chose plastic.

Paypal made me put a phone number. To log in for the coupon. No way to skip it. I have never had to give them a phone number before. Don't like that.

how do we know if its plastic or egiftcard?
tried to order and got.
I don't know if PayPal gets a full breakdown or item price and tax price or just a lump sum. I've got $48 in items ($50+ after tax) and hoping to avoid adding more as the item itself can be easily damages in transit if they ship multiple things together.
