It's like a better spec'ed Dell 5510 with a better screen and a slightly lesser processor which probably won't be noticeable.

If CNVi intel wifi card is available with a AX201 why would they use a AX200?

They perform same. AX201 is a CRF version of AX200 and does not provide any performance benefit. Probably Gigabyte already has a huge supply of AX200 cards and that's why still using them despite AX201 cards are cheaper to manufacture.
Check their Aero 15 series and you'll find that they also have AX200, not 201.

Good productivity/creator machine with decent gaming capability. Not too heavy, no PWM, and very upgradeable and includes a 2.5 disc slot. Swappable battery, which I like!
Am tempted, but anyone have any recent experience with NewEgg rebates?

This looks so much like an updated TongFang/Gateway chassis - which I liked a lot.

So, you can come back here once those are available at your dream price. Till that time, everybody will be happy if you stop thread crapping.

I agree. The market is inflated right now. Prices are worse than they were 2 years ago. I blame the bitcoin miners who want to make a whole $3 dollars per day in passive income.

Leaving a comment about the price being too high is hardly "thread crapping". Stop being such a pantywaist.

No, I won't and thread crappers are gonna get what they deserve. If you want to join him for thread crapping, go ahead. Laptop prices are pretty good now and we have seen and posted some really solid gaming laptop deals. Just because it does not match your imaginative price doesn't mean these are bad deal.

What kind of battery life can you expect if you take this to school running on battery?
