I love it. I have cellular but have never connected it. I use it mainly for exercise, weather, reading texts. Another feature I love is if you use Apple maps (yes I know it's not as good as Google maps), the directions feed to the watch and vibrate when a turn is coming. It also doesn't interrupt your music when using Carplay in the car. Google maps will constantly interrupt the song with it's jabbering.
I'm sure I'm not even scratching the surface on what it can do.
For my ADD wife, who misplaces her phone multiple times a day, it's worth it just for her to be able to ping her phone. Since we keep the ringer off 99% of the time, it is a very useful feature.
Annoyances (to me):
Battery life. I only have the 3 and have to charge it every other day. Not sure if the battery life has gotten better over the last few destinations.
If you have a Ring doorbell it can get annoying when the kids are playing in the yard. I realize that you can go turn those off in the app, but I'm too lazy to do that most of the time.
