This came out on my son's birthday. He HAD to have it. All the presales were sold out. Attempted a midnight COVID Walmart run to be first to get it off the shelf and the one employee looked at me like I was an alien and said there was nothing like that here. I went to bed frustrated and woke up to a Best But in stock alert. I got that thing in my shopping cart and paid for faster than trying to buy Taylor Swift tickets on Ticketmaster for a 2000 fan show. The look on my son's eyes when he opened his present was worth it. He played with it lovingly for many hours. Then it sat, and sat, and sat. Cardboard pieces and Mario taking up precious space… unplayed for years. The moral of the story is, this is a collecting dust item. I see this price and just laugh, with a touch of PTSD.

Just put them next to the pile of Tickle Me Elmos and Hatchimals you deprived people who actually wanted them of buying.

That's why I didn't buy. It will be fun at first then in the landfill. Kids want steam credit or robolox credit these days

what toy do kids play for a long time? my kids always ask for legos, but when we buy them, kids assemble it on one day, let it sit for few days, break it, and pieces go to our lego box for forever. they never re-assembled it. always felt that physical toys are only for the first few days

I would not recommend this to any of my friends. Bought at retail when launched, never touched after first week of play.

Same here, my son is always asking for Legos and other toys but he plays with them for maybe a hour every other month. The only thing he legit wants to play with all the time is the ipad. But he also loves crafts and painting.

I remember being his age and spending hours playing with action figures. Things change, I think electronics for the most part beat out the action figure.
