the device is actually a nice darker red color...reminds me of the first iPhone product red devices.
The band is very bright.

i don't understand the question. where does it say that there are "girls only" or "boys only" colors in this world.
i think color is universal and everyone can wear or use any color they want!

Agreed. Not everyone sees it that way, but I'd rather have a previous gen SS than current gen aluminum.

But I keep mine for longer than most too.

I missed the sale from bestbuy. So I got rid of my S4 and got this one, got a case and another band. It doesn't look bad especially considering the $280 I spent including tax. Next time if there's more SS on sale I won't hesitate to get one.

Word on the street is that you can easily buy new bands and change them if you're too insecure about wearing red. You can also get a case or faceplate to cover the red on the watch as well.

As a regular guy, I'd recommend a dark color apple watch (space gray model is best, if not get a dark case) and get the black sport band (cheap on aliexpress). Also, the 44mm is a good size, preferable to this one I'd say. The problem with red is it's the cheapest unwanted variant, and resale can be a problem thereafter especially with the series 7 coming in weeks. Also, it's likely the 44mm ones can drop in price soon. After giving my series 4 44mm, this deal is giving me a real hankering to drop some moolah again.

Apple is supposed to release a new apple series 7 watch on Sept 14th. Generally when the new product comes out, the older model drops in price. I think this price is still cheaper then the future price when the new one comes out.

I would buy this now and get a price adjustment next week if it drops in price.
