Love this keyboard. Was able to snag one when Gamestop was clearing them for $129.99. Most people love the tactile version but I felt the clicky version was best for me because the keys are much lighter to actuate out of the three versions.

I'd be buying this for work. Which is quieter tactile or clicky?

Tactile is quieter. It's requires a slightly harder force to actuate. I compared when I got the Clicky and bought a Tactile to see how they're different (they're Kaihl switches). I didn't like the noise of the Clicky, but it was easier to type in for me since it's lighter. I think linier might be the most quiet but I have not tried it.

Good price. I own the clicky and really like it. Thinking about picking up another one for work.

Great keyboard! Back in my day Logitech was the no-name brand, but I have always thought they had the best peripherals. Still do.

Don't agree with OP, you can get custom mechanical keyboards that have better quality and aesthetics for a similar price.

Building ur own custom keeb isnt for everyone. Not even hotswappable. Especially when 90% of em are 60%. Some people like me prefer retail gaming keebs

Need linear. I've been eBay hunting for this keyboard. Prices are basically the same as Amazon or bb. Might as well buy here

Tactile is significantly quieter

Yep. With that said, the clicky to my ears are still more quiet than MX Blues.

The challenge with these low-profile mechanical keys is that the activation points are reduced. The tactile version creates less confusion with less experienced users who might scream "but I barely pushed the key" for something like low-profile linear switches.

For what this is (a nice brand with nice features and a new-ish switch design), this is a fine keyboard at a fine price. At the same time this particular price point should probably be of greatest interest only to those specifically in the market for a tactile, low-profile switch mechanical keyboard. Though the tactile is the best common entry point for many in this space, this isn't the keyboard for everyone by far and isn't worth it for those simply shopping for a general-purpose "good value" mechanical keyboard option.

Good luck!
Jon

No. This keyboard isn't for everyone. Even a reply above is trying to sway people away from it by recommending a custom keyboard, which is also not for everyone.
If someone who gets on here and looks at this as a mechanical keyboard and compares that to any mechanical keyboard, then you're looking at it as just black and white. There are now different kinds of mechanical keyboards and this deal is Logitech's Kaihl switch keyboard. The keys act differently than what everyone thinks a mechanical keyboard is (Cherry switches). These Kaihl switches will not feel the same way and as someone mentioned above, Clicky G815s are more quiet than Cherry MX Blue keyboards. Thse G815s and G915s have a lower travel before actuation so they're nice keyboards for people who like membrane keyboards.
