From the photo, these appear to be made by "The United States Playing Cards Company" rather than "The United States Playing Card Company".

IMO these fake cards seem more appropriate for a gag or a craft, possibly for kids.

Some reviews indicate these cards may be low quality. For example, they may stick to each other, etc.

Buyer beware. Purchasing these may provide incentive for those that peddle knock-offs.

Mods: please remove from FP, thanks.

Honestly, as cards go these are not great for long term play. They are very paperlike and will eventually curl. Sure they are good for trips and just to have an extra set, but go with other brands like Bicycle for long lasting and better feel.

Good price, but just know what you are getting.

I got these as a filler for the earlier shop vac deal. Guy delivered just the cards at 8:30 at night. That was a surprise. Smilie

You're not going to get the same quality from Mavericks that you will from Bicycle, or Aristocrat or Bee cards, let alone those you'd spend $11 on. But for the price, they're fine. Play them for an afternoon, and throw them out. Card purists will sneer at them, but Mavericks are not meant for the purist; they're meant for everyday card players who don't want to spend a lot on a new deck.

I agree these decks are good for a few hours of constant playing. Co worker brought them in and they are good for about a day, maybe 2. But, at less than 50 cents a deck, they'll do the job.
