Crazy how cheap travel is right now. Airlines is a tough business to be in.

I use those route once in 2 months. None works for me, but this is good deal if your schedule works. Usually pay around 380 to 440ish.

Argh, just booked LAX to NYC on Friday for $164 round trip on JetBlue. Thought that was a steal.

So, back to the actual topic of this thread, what do flights cost if you want to take more than a toothbrush and laptop? Say just a carry-on big enough to hold what most folks would need for 3-7 days, nothing fancy, just some changes of clothes, toiletries, TSA-approved self-defense products to protect you in the big bad city, etc.

Fare is usually low at this time. I looked at this a few years ago (although I do not have historical data to show you). Demand is simply low in September

I brought a huge carryon going to NYC with 5 pairs of clothes and some things I bought.
