Kingston.com has a labor day weekend sale on most of the stuff. Expired

On sale are the new Kingston Fury Beast series (see notes later on these vs earlier HyperX).

Unfortunately, many of the choices including all 32Gb kits were sold out by the time I found this. But there are some choices still available in both RGB and non RGB versions. You can also buy multiple single modules to use in pairs.

2x32GB sold out

About these sticks:

Kingston sold the HyperX brand to HP. So anything now sold with HyperX Fury is old stuff.

Fury Beast is the affordable version and Fury Renegade is the high performance version in the current line.

These were announced in June of this year and there are only 2 online reviews both recommending them

https://www.eteknix.com/kingston-...r4-review/

https://newbcomputerbuild.com/ram...satisfies/

For comparison, these are equivalent to Crucial Tactical Ballistix (no longer in production) which is between the now available Ballistix and Ballistix Elite and very close to the much more expensive Elite. Even Ballistix are more expensive now. These are at Silicon Power pricing.

These seem to be using Samsung D die (at least the 3200mhz C16) and can be mildly overclocked but not for extreme overclocking beyond rated. Amount of memory you have is more important than overclocking.

I have used Kingston off and on in memory and SSDs for a long time and they have always been reliable if not the top in performance but good value. Have had them replace memory under lifetime warranty without any issues even after some 8 to 10 years upgrading to best available.

Buying from Kingston.com makes warranty service easier.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Don't know why they don't link the data sheets to that shop page.

When you select a configuration, the model number appears next to the price. If you google that model number, the data sheet link will appear at the top of the search list.
Just wanted to say Thank You! This is one of the final parts of my build I'm finally able to complete after waiting for a GPU for 6 months. This will be great. Thanks again.
I will buy 16g of these and sell the 8g of Dell OEM

it's unclear what the timings are based on their website? Does anyone know if the 32*2 has 18-22-22-42?

Pretty decent deal, 15% to 45% off standard retail, depending on what you're buying.
Not exactly cutting edge ram, but it probably is just fine for 95% of people. 👍
Possibly better$ deal than some of the upcoming BF deals, with the still developing electronics shortages.

I bought a dozen 8gb 3200 for a new ram boost for my ARK and Space Engineers servers. Will let me trickle down upgrade my other server boxes to 4x4gb 🐏🐏🐏🐏

Not very knowledgeable on computers… but just bought a dell desktop that has 1x8GB, DDR4, 2666MHz (item 370-AFKP).

It has an extra spot for ram. I should just be able to buy the black 1x8 ddr4 2666mhz from here and it'll work?

Theoretically yes but you never know for sure. Sometimes can have weird random compatibility issues

Typically, mixing brands is not recommended although it will likely work in 99% of the cases at the slower performance of the two. May not work in a dual channel mode which will up the performance from the original.

The fool proof approach for that extra slot is to find the compatible RAM via the memory finder of the manufacturer for your computer model. For example, Kingston site is

https://www.kingston.com/unitedstates/us/memory

You will likely find the speed matched equivalent (which may actually be more expensive than the price here).

Using the stick here will most likely work to give you total installed memory at the lower speed of the original (which are probably C19 sticks).

The better approach would be to replace in pairs from the same brand. If it is shown as compatible, it will definitely work. If not shown as compatible in memory finder, it could still work but it may not.

Kingston has a 30 day free return policy, so you can always try it out.

Interestingly unlike GPU shortages, it looks like RAM prices are coming down which might be indicative of a a good supply of RAM, which may mean BF prices could be better but that's just my pure speculation
