Magsafe:
The MagSafe Charger makes wireless charging a snap. The perfectly aligned magnets attach to your iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, or iPhone 12 Pro Max and provide faster wireless charging up to 15W.
The MagSafe Charger maintains compatibility with Qi charging, so it can be used to wirelessly charge your iPhone 8 or later, as well as AirPods models with a wireless charging case, as you would with any Qi-certified charger.
The magnetic alignment experience only applies to iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro models.
Apple 20W USB-C Power Adapter:
The Apple 20W USB-C Power Adapter offers fast, efficient charging at home, in the office, or on the go. While the power adapter is compatible with any USB-C-enabled device, Apple recommends pairing it with the 11-inch iPad Pro and 12.9-inch iPad Pro (3rd generation) for optimal charging performance. You can also pair it with iPhone 8 or later to take advantage of the fast-charging feature.

Costco also has the MagSafe charger + iPhone Mini silicone case for the same price, but doesn't come with the USB-C adapter.
Picked up two more to replace my old Qi chargers around the house, and may place one in my car as well.

it's not for everyone though
pros: for wireless charging standards it's great, it's satisfying when the phone and charger circle snap in place, if plugging a phone into a cable seems like too much work then this is your best bet
cons: it leaves an ugly circle on your case, it charges slowly, it's an additional purchase for charging, it gets really hot
also *possibly* a new version coming out: https://9to5mac.com/2021/09/06/ap...-13-event/

I know it charges slower than with a cable but it's simple and convenient. I just plop it down on my desk and forget about it.
