One issue buying from Samsung is the cost of an extended warranty. Costco this is not. I'm just planning on winging it with the 1 year manufacturer warranty and the extra year from my cc, but I'd prefer longer obviously.

But hey, it includes burn-in insurance.
"Upsie covers burn-in for all television types and models including LCD, QLED, OLED, and Plasma TVs"

Is it worth waiting 3.5 months to possibly save 4% more? Not to me.

You could buy using Samsung finance scheme, they add free 3 yrs warranty along with it
You can also get EPP discount status by signing up for a Samsung money account by SoFi. I did it initially and put $10 in the account. Fast forward 9 months later and I use it as my sole bank account and have moved 70% of my stock holdings there. Great app.
