Would be good to add "is store only" as can't be used to online shopping sadly

Wasn't able to use the coupon on a clearanced rotary tool. The Wallmart employee gave me a hard time trying to use it and treated me like a crook when it did work on the worklight.

If anyone is having an issue using this, I learned a few things about what can go wrong and how to avoid them.
So, the "coupon" is actually a one time use virtual Debit Card; once everything is rung up you have to have them select pay now and then credit/debit and then they have to scan it and it will deduct the $10. And then you can pay for the rest however you want. (this is explained in all bold Capital lettering right under the barcode of the sheet you print) Side note, if you use the self checkout an employee with have to suspend the transaction and bring a special receipt print out to their employee checkout to continue for the promo to be applied, You're going to have to interact with people for this one lol.
The coupon WILL Absolutely work on clearance 20V tools and kits, there is a list on the Hart Rewards website that lists all eligible tools for the promotion. https://hartrewards.com/participating-list.pdf
Regardless of the price the three pages of tools listed all qualify. HOWEVER I ran into an issue trying to buy a weed wacker today with the promotion. It turns out, even though the item absolutely was a part of the promotion, and happened to be a clearance item, it had an "online only" SKU; meaning it's likely it was an item either ordered and never picked up, or one returned, or something else entirely.
A good rule of thumb/Early warning system to check if you'll be successful or not during checkout is if after you scan the item's barcode, does it ask you for the tool's Serial Number. If it doesn't it should alert you that you may have an issue.
I had to argue with the manager that the item did indeed qualify for the promotion and showed her on my phone. After her numerous attempts to cop out for not wanting to give the $10 off, stating it doesn't qualify and the printout doesn't say manufacturer coupon so they can't honor it etc etc. I asked if I could try with a different tool to demonstrate how it works, they agreed. I happened to discover that the Exact Same item I was trying to purchase had other boxes with a Different SKU number, IDENTICAL boxes but a different SKU entirely. Brought the different SKU box to the register and sure enough it worked without Any issues whatsoever, It also asked for the serial number to be scanned this time unlike with the other box.
Another way to avoid this headache is have an employee scan the item with their mobile inventory thing and if it shows that it's an online item only you may have an issue with the promotion not working; YMMV with getting a manager to apply the discount despite this.
If there IS an issue with the promotion not working a manager Absolutely Can just discount the item $10 if they want to, but they may claim they can only discount it 10% if they don't feel generous or want to deal with whatever they may have to deal with on their end for giving the discount, perhaps their boss asking them why they gave the discount, who knows.
I also believe you May have Some luck with going to customer service with the promo barcode print out and your receipt for the item and explaining that it didn't work when you tried to check out using it and after they investigate they may refund the $10, again YMMV.
I hope this novel of a comment helps, Good Luck.
Stay safe, god bless.

It worked for me on a 20v hybrid blower which was on clearance. Used self checkout and followed the instructions in the email.

Got a trimmer/edger with battery/charger for $26.xx.

Really wished I could find a chainsaw for ~$50. The stores in my area are still wanting like $130 for them. The one I was at tonight had like 10 of them sitting there as well as some 40v ones outside. Like, y'all aren't going to sell these things anytime soon, bring on the clearance!!!

Worked for me just now on clearance $15 4 gal backpack sprayers, all four on same transaction.
Did you use four $10 Barcode Bucks in one transaction where you purchased four backpack sprayers, or did you only have one $10 Barcode Buck?

People are reporting this works in the self-checkout since it has a scanner gun.

Ring up the product. Click pay now on the screen and select credit/debit. Scan the coupon with the scanner gun and pay with your card.

All four in the same transaction. The POS about had to hear attach though, since it was essentially splitting the payment between five payment methods, as the $10 off barcodes are a virtual debit card.

As stated here, the $10 "coupon" (called BARCODE BUCK$) is really a digital debit card, and works just fine at self-checkout without any operator assistance needed.

How does the return works with this reward. I bought a trimmer for $55 and used $10 reward. This trimmer is $25 on another store. Do I lose this reword if I return the trimmer?

You will probably lose the $10. But you can still get another $10 if you have another email address, and then use it at the store that has it for $25
