Thanks just ordered. My old Hoover upright has seen better days been wanting the Dyson for a long time but didn't want to pay retail. This referb easily fit my budget as a new one on Amazon is $413 Walmart also sells the same refurb at the same price if you miss the Newegg deal.

This is perfect since my current vacuum needs to retire; old Bissell. Ended up ordering off Walmart from the other comments and it will be here Monday.

Nope this is first gen. All models of dyson are the same except for attachment packs.

Newegg site says it comes with a 180 day warranty. Dyson outlet on eBay from the DrinknHand's link says it has a 2-year warranty. Walmart says it has a 2-year warranty too. All are the same price.

Do yourself a favor and go with Walmart. I got one of these and the first one was broken. Walmart allows in store returns where Newegg and eBay will leave you stranded.

I would say the size differences are negligible. I had a shark before this that took up the same amount of room. Both are full size vaccuums.

Walmart does not have 2 year warranty but you can add one for 24 to 30$ I think..it's a good deal walmart returns are better than newegg in store etc.

Depends on what shark you are talking about. I have a Shark Apex speed in my apartment and it's super compact. It's pretty small compared to the Dyson Ball. Shark is better in every way (duo clean, quieter, headlights, more suction, lift away which turns into a canister) compared to the dyson except that the cyclone isn't as efficient meaning you have to continuously wash it after every few uses

It was one of the navigators. I agree I like the shark better after owning both. The hose on this is just the most asinine system I've ever seen. Very hard to use. The dyson though seems to pull more out of the carpet while sounding like a jet.

I went to the product page did expand specifications and it shows 90 days can you screen shot you are not looking at refurbished model..ther is no way walmart is giving 2 years on refurbished have you ever seen this on any refurbished products..on Walmart ?I have not..
