The American Dental Association (ADA) does not recommend using charcoal toothpaste, based on a lack of evidence that it's effective.

Pretty sure only bleaching pastes (hydrogen peroxide) actually can make a difference, the rest are just gently removing daily surface stains. But those can cause sensitivity issues for some people, and there is some question if its bad for the stuff inside your teeth, its enamel safe, but the pulp (?) might be affected from bleaching.

I tried a charcoal paste for the heck of it, and would never buy one again, as its very obvious if you dont completely clean your sink after brushing or scrub it daily, as tiny speckles of black paste will show up on the white sink.

So so toothpaste, does not justify the added cost *At regular price* retail -- as I have not seen any difference in removing stains or streaks... Also mint is not really strong mint, but just a taste, if you really like to feel minty fresh in the morning, you will still need mouth wash or an actual mint. This deal may be OK though.

I've tried charcoal powder with Good results. Read the reviews, some are much better than others in terms of mess

Charcoal is also bad for your teeth. Use crest pro health since stannous flouride has been proven to keep them healthy and rebuild enamel better than standard sodium flouride.

I've used this stuff and I don't like it at all. It doesn't clean any better than the regular Crest 3D White, and it clumps up a lot. The whole charcoal toothpaste thing is basically just a marketing ploy. You'll never get very noticeable whitening from any toothpaste.

The amount of charcoal power in this toothpaste is so negligible that you can safely use without any concern. It's all marketing anyway.
