1 LB, QHD OLED FP reader quad speaker array and camera setup is unbelievable for this price.

The main killer is 4gb ram, idk why this config exists with such other specs, such as 128GB. But other then that let down, this price is crazy low, amazing deal

I have this tablet and it's not laggy at all. I suppose it depends what you're running on the tablet. Are you mining dogecoins?

Sorry for nitpicking but I think you meant to write "<" which means "less than".

RAM offers at least two real-world benefits. It manages to keep more frequently used apps in memory. This leads to better battery usage and less CPU work. I don't understand why Android tablets don't get this lol.

Android users treated like second class citizens. iOS on the other hand has a bunch of options. I can only blame Google's lack of commitment ( incompetence?) for not pushing 3rd-party developers to make better tablet apps. How is it hard to understand that you lose customers to iOS once you start using iPads. Ecosystem is such an important thing. I don't want Samsung phone and Apple tablet.
That's not a fair comparison.

They don't manage the OS the same. Apple is "you'll do it my way or you won't do it at all. Don't like it... FU"

Google has basic rules to follow but gives you more freedom to do other things if you want.

Both ways have there downsides. Apples anal way makes a product a lot easier for my parents to use for example. More consistent going from device to device and them working better together.

Googles way allows a person modify/customize stuff the way they like it or maybe in a way Google never thought of. Something my parents have no use for but appeals to me.

Googles biggest fault is starting a product and then suddenly deciding they don't want to bother with it anymore and you have a product that gets no support ever again.

While the tablet is indeed cheap, I just find Samsung's trade in program so good that it's just worth buying Samsung Tablet if you are going to upgrade in the future. I went from Samsung tab S4 to S7 for only 200 bucks with trade-in with galaxy bud pro for free to boot. And I bought S4 for 230 on ebay almost two years ago. You can also trade in these other brand tablets but you don't get as much for trade in.

Lenovo tablet was remotely modified via forced update to have un-dismissable, un-mutable, system ad notifications from an app that cannot be uninstalled or disabled.

So you basically agreed with me that Google is clueless, hence we are here today discussing the RAM and ecosystem issues.

The tab 5se has weak CPU and GPU. That's why it's laggy. You put 4GB of ram in sd 888 and I can guarantee you it will not lag.
Your tab se has sd 670 running a 2k screen. There's no way it will run smooth. You can put 80GB of ram and it will still lag. Idk why they would put a 2k screen on a budget cpu.

One of the few Lenovo tablets that has Wildvine certification which means that Netflix and other drm streaming sites will actually run at full resolution. Amazing how many tablets don't have this.

Just wish this thing had better case options.

Popular with 3 thumbs up. New p 12 pro announced yesterday. Seems like Lenovo trying to clear out this model. Maybe I'll wait a bit for >250
It's already greater than 250
