    3. Click here and Scan QR Code
    4. Save Offer
      • You may be directed to log in to your account
    5. Make your first Touch Free Purchase of $20 or more using PayPal QR code at checkout
    6. After completing purchase, $20 will be sent to your valid account
  • Venmo Instructions:
    1. Open Venmo App (Android or iOS)
    2. In bottom left corner of app, click "Scan"
    3. Click here and Scan QR Code
    4. Accept Permissions
    5. Click "Save for Later"
    6. Under Profile, select QR code symbol
    7. Click "Show to Pay" to being up your QR Code
      • Note, new Venmo users will need to verify identity under settings to use QR code
    8. Make your first Touch Free Purchase of $20 or more
    9. After completing purchase, $20 will be sent to your valid account

The offer is valid from 6-7-2021 to 9-10-2021 and only to the first 50,000 people. They don't give you the discount right at the cash register... they give you a $20 credit at some point in the future *if* you are the first 50,000. So it's impossible to know if you are going to get the $20 or not. Back when they had the $10 back on a $20 transaction, I had to contact the Better Business Bureau to get the $10 from PayPal. I advise you to steer clear of this one; PayPal doesn't have the best reputation at fulfilling promotions like this.

But before heading to the store add the offer to your wallet using OPs instructions.
Worked like a charm last time this offer was available. Was able to redeem both through Paypal and Venmo.

I got this offer two weeks ago. I bought a $20 Amazon GC in store. The cashier scanned the QR code in my PayPal app. My Discover card was charged $20 and earned 5% cashback for the PayPal transaction. PayPal deposited $10 into my account which I transferred to my bank.

The QR scan would not work at self-checkout, even when I touched the button at the kiosk to check out with PayPal. The cashier said it doesn't work.

I have this offer in my app again today. Any data points on this working two weeks ago and again today?

I did the $10 back after spending $20 deal using Venmo a month or so back. Anyone know if paying via PayPal will still count as a "first" if I've used Venmo before?
