    6. After completing purchase, $20 will be sent to your valid account
  • Venmo Instructions:
    1. Open Venmo App (Android or iOS)
    2. In bottom left corner of app, click "Scan"
    3. Click here and Scan QR Code
    4. Accept Permissions
    5. Click "Save for Later"
    6. Under Profile, select QR code symbol
    7. Click "Show to Pay" to being up your QR Code
      • Note, new Venmo users will need to verify identity under settings to use QR code
    8. Make your first Touch Free Purchase of $20 or more
    9. After completing purchase, $20 will be sent to your valid account

The offer is valid from 6-7-2021 to 9-10-2021 and only to the first 50,000 people. They don't give you the discount right at the cash register... they give you a $20 credit at some point in the future *if* you are the first 50,000. So it's impossible to know if you are going to get the $20 or not. Back when they had the $10 back on a $20 transaction, I had to contact the Better Business Bureau to get the $10 from PayPal. I advise you to steer clear of this one; PayPal doesn't have the best reputation at fulfilling promotions like this.

Purchased $25 Amazon card with Venmo and transaction history shows only being charged $5 with a $20 credit offer applied. Thanks very much OP! I couldn't find the offer in PayPal when I go to the store so went with Venmo as it was still showing in my offers.

To clarify, you purchased the $25 Amazon gift card in store, correct? You showed cashier your Venmo payment QR, they scanned it and you paid with Venmo?

Correct. There was a payment option for PayPal/Venmo/Alipay which the cashier clicked and used the scanner gun to scan the QR code on my phone. Receipt printed instantly showing paying $25 but then looking at Venmo it shows only being charged $5 and the $20 offer was applied. HTH!

Offer is minimum of $20 purchase. Venmo transaction doesn't show any transaction. I wonder if it is because of the offer applied. Supposedly pay thru linked bank account.

Yeah, I think people are getting messed up. This is an instant coupon. There is also a $10 cashback offer off $20 that some people have.
