    5. Make your first Touch Free Purchase of $20 or more using PayPal QR code at checkout
    6. After completing purchase, $20 will be sent to your valid account
  • Venmo Instructions:
    1. Open Venmo App (Android or iOS)
    2. In bottom left corner of app, click "Scan"
    3. Click here and Scan QR Code
    4. Accept Permissions
    5. Click "Save for Later"
    6. Under Profile, select QR code symbol
    7. Click "Show to Pay" to being up your QR Code
      • Note, new Venmo users will need to verify identity under settings to use QR code
    8. Make your first Touch Free Purchase of $20 or more
    9. After completing purchase, $20 will be sent to your valid account

The offer is valid from 6-7-2021 to 9-10-2021 and only to the first 50,000 people. They don't give you the discount right at the cash register... they give you a $20 credit at some point in the future *if* you are the first 50,000. So it's impossible to know if you are going to get the $20 or not. Back when they had the $10 back on a $20 transaction, I had to contact the Better Business Bureau to get the $10 from PayPal. I advise you to steer clear of this one; PayPal doesn't have the best reputation at fulfilling promotions like this.

Cashier didn't give me trouble, so depends on store. You can use self checkout kiosk to buy GC at CVS and those kiosks support Paypal/Venmo QR code checkout to the best of my knowledge. Just tell cashier to scan QR code and it will work.

Can confirm. 20 works with PayPal and 20 works with Venmo both. Used kiosk both times. Also 10 back in PayPal balance.

Just went into the store and got the $25 amazon GC. I loaded the QR code into the Paypal app and then used the paypal app to pay at the register. I paid only $5 and it looks like instant $10 credit also came to my Paypal which I just transferred to my bank account. So overall, can confirm this works with no issues.

Agreed. Skip the cashier if they give you trouble and checkout via kiosk. Surprisingly CVS sells GC's via kiosk. Usually most retailers don't allow it.

Was able to get $20 off for both PayPal and Venmo. However the $10 off $20 from PayPal did not work (as of yet at least). It was also showing under my account for offers. May be because I have used a similar promotion in the past.

If it ends up applying, great. If not, no big deal. Still got a free $40 and can't complain whatsoever. Fantastic slick deal right here.

(2) separate transactions of $25 amazon gcs w/ paypal and venmo
paid $5 on each transaction with a $10 paypal credit essentially free $50
tip: if you're cashier is clueless explain to them they have to select "digital currency" or something similar on their end and then scan your qr code - you do not scan the phone yourself they have to scan it with there scanner
