    6. After completing purchase, $20 will be sent to your valid account
  • Venmo Instructions:
    1. Open Venmo App (Android or iOS)
    2. In bottom left corner of app, click "Scan"

    4. Accept Permissions
    5. Click "Save for Later"
    6. Under Profile, select QR code symbol
    7. Click "Show to Pay" to being up your QR Code
      • Note, new Venmo users will need to verify identity under settings to use QR code

The offer is valid from 6-7-2021 to 9-10-2021 and only to the first 50,000 people. They don't give you the discount right at the cash register... they give you a $20 credit at some point in the future *if* you are the first 50,000. So it's impossible to know if you are going to get the $20 or not. Back when they had the $10 back on a $20 transaction, I had to contact the Better Business Bureau to get the $10 from PayPal. I advise you to steer clear of this one; PayPal doesn't have the best reputation at fulfilling promotions like this.

If they tell you they can't sell gift cards with paypal they are lying! The first store wouldn't sell it to me but at the second CVS they had no issue doing it.

Went full Karen on the first manager that wouldn't sell it and recorded him, he had a lousy attitude.

Already escalated to corporate.

I am not one to complain but that manager shouldn't be managing anything.

edit: go ahead and thumbs down all you want, If complaining about a store manager that has a bad attitude and lies about store policy is deserving of a thumbs down go for it. BTW, The Karen part was just a joke, I did film him but was extremely polite.

Worked like a charm for me. I bought a $25 Amazon GC, and the paper receipt didn't show the discounts, but when I checked the PayPal app, it had taken the $20 off, and I also had the $10 back in my account.

this worked at self check out two separate transactions with two $25 amazons. it didn't work when you choose "payment type PayPal venmo etc" just don't choose an option when you go to next page with the payments listed "cash /credit / etc" just scan your phone downwards towards the machine and it goes through instantly. extra $10 paypal also works instantly thanks all

Ordering online did not work for me. The pending charge is showing full amount for CVS within PayPal activity. And it doesnt appear I can cancel my CVS order easily after the fact now.

I was able to get $20 back and also double dip on $10 back after first contactless PayPal purchase offer. FYI cashier is likely not to know how to process transaction. Ask them to click on "digital payment" option.

So just scan the amazon gift card and then use the paypal app on the screen?
