    5. Make your first Touch Free Purchase of $20 or more using PayPal QR code at checkout
    6. After completing purchase, $20 will be sent to your valid account
  • Venmo Instructions:
    1. Open Venmo App (Android or iOS)
    2. In bottom left corner of app, click "Scan"
    3. Click here and Scan QR Code
    4. Accept Permissions
    5. Click "Save for Later"
    6. Under Profile, select QR code symbol
    7. Click "Show to Pay" to being up your QR Code
      • Note, new Venmo users will need to verify identity under settings to use QR code
    8. Make your first Touch Free Purchase of $20 or more
    9. After completing purchase, $20 will be sent to your valid account

The offer is valid from 6-7-2021 to 9-10-2021 and only to the first 50,000 people. They don't give you the discount right at the cash register... they give you a $20 credit at some point in the future *if* you are the first 50,000. So it's impossible to know if you are going to get the $20 or not. Back when they had the $10 back on a $20 transaction, I had to contact the Better Business Bureau to get the $10 from PayPal. I advise you to steer clear of this one; PayPal doesn't have the best reputation at fulfilling promotions like this.

confirmed as other have mentioned, you can do this ONCE on paypal and then ONCE on venmo and get approved for BOTH.

I had already applied the $20 offer in my PP account. Just got back from CVS, made purchase of Amazon gc approximately 8:30 pm. The cashier was confused but I kept telling her she needed to scan the qr code on my phone and it worked fine. I also got the $10 in my PP account from the other offer. Nice deal and reps!

I used Paypal and cashier got error telling to use different tender. My account is set to use credit card not balance. Was that the problem?

That happened to me and I realized I was giving them the wrong barcode on Venmo to scan, there is a barcode to receive a payment (Venmo me) and one to make a payment (Show to pay). Like a dummy I was trying to use Venmo Me to pay and got that Alternate Payment Required message. laugh out loud Worked fine when I clicked the Show to Pay barcode.

As lo as you load the offer earlier in the day before the limit was reached it will still work. Was able to us on Venmo just now. make sure you have enough fund in the account or a card added as a backup payment option, otherwise transaction won't go through. (Adding bank account as backup payment today just won't work, it take a few days to have the account verified)
