The offer is valid from 6-7-2021 to 9-10-2021 and only to the first 50,000 people. They don't give you the discount right at the cash register... they give you a $20 credit at some point in the future *if* you are the first 50,000. So it's impossible to know if you are going to get the $20 or not. Back when they had the $10 back on a $20 transaction, I had to contact the Better Business Bureau to get the $10 from PayPal. I advise you to steer clear of this one; PayPal doesn't have the best reputation at fulfilling promotions like this.
Where do we see the credit for $10? New app on iphone seems to have icons and couldnt see this though I did add the $10 reward onto my account
It was added to my paypal balance almost instantly. I'm not sure where that is viewable on the app (I already deleted it), but the balance is fairly obvious for me when logging in with a web browser.
I'm not sure about Venmo, but it should be PayPal balance first ($20 promo), then linked card.
Yeah, i am sure it would have worked if i had any balance in Venmo...Was just commenting that cashier's screen did tell her alternative payment method required.
Used Venmo to get the AGC for $25. Digital receipt shows it charged my credit card for $5. But I have trouble redeeeming my AGC, it showing an error message saying it's invalid. FYI, for those who bought it for themselves, please try it and tell me if you are experiencing the same thing.

Were you be able to link a Credit Card on the Venmo App or on their web site?
Edit: I was able to add it on their web site. Hope this works till tomorrow.
Edit: And I don't mean expire, but revoked.
