    5. Make your first Touch Free Purchase of $20 or more using PayPal QR code at checkout
    6. After completing purchase, $20 will be sent to your valid account
  • Venmo Instructions:
    1. Open Venmo App (Android or iOS)
    2. In bottom left corner of app, click "Scan"
    3. Click here and Scan QR Code
    4. Accept Permissions
    5. Click "Save for Later"
    6. Under Profile, select QR code symbol
    7. Click "Show to Pay" to being up your QR Code
      • Note, new Venmo users will need to verify identity under settings to use QR code

The offer is valid from 6-7-2021 to 9-10-2021 and only to the first 50,000 people. They don't give you the discount right at the cash register... they give you a $20 credit at some point in the future *if* you are the first 50,000. So it's impossible to know if you are going to get the $20 or not. Back when they had the $10 back on a $20 transaction, I had to contact the Better Business Bureau to get the $10 from PayPal. I advise you to steer clear of this one; PayPal doesn't have the best reputation at fulfilling promotions like this.

as to help those of us who did not get the $10, can those who got it buying just a Gift Card verify if

1) they used a credit card or Paypal balance
2) they have a fully verified bank account on the Paypal account
3) bought other items besides a GC

It's very strange many bought gift cards yet some got $10 on top of the $20 while others didn't

I did this deal several times with my friends

I used PayPal balance. Got $10. Only bought GC. No bank account linked.

Used credit card, didn't get $10. Bought gc. Bank account linked.

Used credit card, didn't get $10. Bought other items that aren't gc. Bank account linked.

All accounts are fully verified with SSN

Not true. I have an old/main and verfied paypal account with ss# and bank acct info and CC and although I got the $20 off $20, I did not get the $10 credit. Made the purchase around 1pm.


My wife's paypal that I just opened today to get into this deal has no SS# , no bank acct info and I only added her CC info, got the $20 discount and $10 credit. Made the purchase around 3pm. However, after receiving the credit, I need to complete all these info (SS# and bank acct#) to be able to transfer the $10 credit into her bank account.

Wondering myself. I'll be out in a couple hours. If someone finds out, please post to save us some time lol. I only did Venmo yesterday. (I did pp but it was on debit card). Just realized fine print says through app. So I am hoping to do pp today right quick since it was saved....

Its officially dead. I loaded mine yesterday, used 3 of them, had 1 venmo left. It didnt work. Do not waste your time. Must have hit the 50k limit.

Oh well, still an easy $80 profit. $30 paypal, $30 paypal, $20 venmo = $80

was that via self checkout? i could not get paypal or venmo to work yesterday via self checkout. i had to go to the register. It kept saying payment failed
