Worth a shot to log in to your Discover card account and "chat" a rep. Four months ago, I came off a 12 month 0% APR on purchases and just got it again by asking. Of course TWO months ago I asked if there were any special APR rates and was told "no." Last chat was this:
Me: "Good morning, I was wondering if there were any special offers available on my card"
Rep: "Was there anything in particular you were looking for?"
Me: "Special APR for purchases or anything interesting?"
Rep: "I show you are eligible for 0% APR for the next 12 months, would you like me to apply that to your account?"
Me: Sure, thanks!

Used the message/chat feature in the Discover app. I was initially offered 0.9% for 9 months so I asked if there was a way to get the 0% for 12 months that everyone else is talking about. They came back in a few minutes and offered it to me. Signed up and I'm good to go now. Always nice to have something like this around in case a big purchase comes up. Maybe I can put a down payment on a lease return and make some money via Turo. Shrug.

i had a bank (lender) that accepted discover card on their payment portal. use the card to payoff a note.

I was also offered 0% for 12 months. This is only on new purchases not an existing balance. They also offered a rate reduction instead. But for me that was only 2% difference and obviously 0% is a better deal.
