Just a heads up, the physical copies of these Star Wars games are coming to switch in "double packs" soon. No idea what price will be.

Republic Commando is outstanding. First person shooter where you command a squad of Clone Troopers. Very immersive. Vode An (Brothers All) song really captures the atmosphere of the game, what you will experience, and what you will come away with when it finishes. This really should have been made into a Prequel era movie. The game is shortish but highly satisfyingly.

One of my favorite games Star War Jedi II is a hard no on the switch. I've had it on my wish list since buying the switch. No aim makes it impossible to kill with an accuracy. Long checkpoints means starting over after a lot of progress. No custom buttons so controls are clunky. One of these things is annoying, all make it unplayable. Huge let down. And I'd say there are waaaay better games out there.

There was a major stability and performance patch a few months back. I played the first hour and there is some dips in FPS every once in a while, but I am having fun visiting an old game and that's all that matters to me especially since I am mobile on the switch.

This game absolutely does not have rogue-lite elements.

It's a clear as day 90s style beat em up with an extremely simple leveling system to give you new moves similar to Castle Crashers.

It's a fun beat em up, but it definitely isn't a rogue-lite in any way.

Really? Last i played a few years ago i felt it held up very well for a single player shooter. Fun, squad commanding stuff was simple but solid.

I would consider Scott Pilgrim a must own for $7.50. Amazing brawler combat, 4 player co-op, deeper than you'd expect.

For those wondering "what kind of a game is Scott Pilgrim": If you have Nintendo Online, then play River City Ransom. It's practically a spiritual successor that does everything better. Amazing music by Anamanaguchi, beautiful visuals by Paul Robertson, and an overall refinement in gameplay (game feel, bosses, pacing, etc.)

Definitely worth your time.

I'm probably going to pick up Pod-Racer. It's actually quite a decent game, and probably the closest thing we'll get to F-Zero on the Switch.
I've tried most the other future racers, and they usually feel off. either floaty controls or some other issue. But Pod Racer holds up.
