You can use them in the app but it's PAINFUL. I bought a $50 a few years ago and I swore I'd never do it again. Half the franchises have broken gift card bar code scanners, the other half have clueless employees who have no idea how to run a gift card from the app. My success rate using the gift card was less than 50%. I'd always have to bring cash into the store with me "just in case." Totally not worth it IMO.

T-minus 3-2-1 to classic Subway bashing comments... I think at this point everyone already knows what to expect.

They have the BOGO going on right now with the code FREESUB, enjoy it now.... Otherwise not worth the price IMO. They tried introducing their new Cali" subs with premium toppings while raising the price to promote it. Its not as far superior as they say it is.

Register your Subway® eGift Card and use it to pay for remote orders or use in the Subway® App. Scan the QR code from your phone or from a paper print out (make sure your QR Code is not folded).

Between this and the footlong bogo deal, I'm in. I just hope I can use it in the app.

Only one of my semi local subways participates in promotions... My most local one will claim you asked for extra meat etc if you use a coupon. If you don't mind the food or the workers, this would be decent to combine with the current BOGO deal... But again, YMMV on stores that may participate
