"Now through September 30th, get a free AARP membership when you spend $15 or more on qualifying Walgreens branded health & wellness, beauty or personal care products.*"
The details are lacking, but the offer appears to work the same as previous years: the membership form (coupon) prints at the register after checkout. My friend purchased $15 worth of Walgreens vitamins and dental floss and the form printed. The form is the same as last year and existing members get a free one year membership extension.

Wow, AARP is now aiming at 45 year olds.
I made it very clear in writing to the AARP ( usually sign up 5 years at a time ) and the NRA
( life member ) to never to send me any junk mail and I really don't get much of any.
Thank you MC another good deal

I got a year free with my Chase card and despite the junk mail, the extra rate bump at Marcus, and discounted gift cards to my grocery made it worth it.
Also repped you for the shredder comment. F*cking hilarious.
