Beware! Their after-sale service is horrible/non-existent. The SSD I bought started malfunctioning after Amazon's 30-day return period and after I contacted SK Hynix, they kept asking me to contact Amazon (!). Once I contacted Amazon, Amazon said it's not common to return after 30 days and it will have a restocking fee. I reached out to SK Hynix again and then they started giving me a run-around again until I gave up after 7 back-and-forth emails.

Come on, seriously, this is 500gb not the 1tb one. It's never been $101.99

100% had the same experience, they did issue a refund, but so much for the multi-year "warranty".

Is it the late 2013 model? If yes, then it should support it. I found the information from below:

Good to know. I have never purchased one directly but they are installed in a OEMs such as Dell so they might not be exactly end user customer focused,. They are set to acquire Intel's NAND business if it has not already happened.

Same price as last week, but I did get it and it is a speedy drive Wink They don't sell to the public, except through places like Amazon, Micro center .... so if you have a problem, you might have problems Frown

It is known brand but that doesn't mean they don't send them for reviews.

Yes it should. I am currently using it in my 2015 MacBook Air. Just be aware that you will need to use an adapter (link below since I'm on mobile) and that you will have to update the firmware of the SSD by plugging it into a PC first (instructions also below) before you can use it with a Mac.
