Not bad picked on up for $55 last November & then $70 in June for my hackintosh build. Tempting 🙃
Always been tempted to do a Hackintosh build. Haven't looked into in many years though. Can iMessages be used on a Hackintosh yet? I remember that was an issue back in the day.

You have to spoof the serial numbers and other stuff to get iMessage and FaceTime to work. There are a few softwares out there that help you with that. Also, it's a lot easier now than when it first started. You can do an intel or AMD (a little harder) hackintosh.

It's gotten easier but there are still some missing features
I just picked up XPG 8gb x 2 kit on Amazon last night for $57.99. 16-20-20 but they're supposedly Samsung b-die so manual timings will likely be much better than the XMP settings. . Likely c-die or CJR. I'll report back on timing.
8gb desktop sticks are typically single rank. 16gb sticks are typically dual. 4x8gb give you dual rank. 2x16 will be dual and 4x16 will still be dual rank i believe.
Ram prices have definitely come down in the last few weeks, not quite as low as a year ago but moving in the right direction. I bought the XPG Z1 DDR4 3200MHz 8gb sticks a year ago for $45 and they were hynix C-die. Still a decent ram for the price.
the heat spreaders are fairly thick on these. I had issues getting them to fit in a mini-ITX build because of how close the RAM slots were to the CPU water block

How is it a great deal? You can find faster ram for cheaper. Everywhere.
