NOTE that this product needs to be anchored to a wall!
I feel like everything I buy my cats is just to keep them occupied so they dont murder me in my sleep.
I don't know if this is the same but it looks very similar to one I had for my cat. It was so 'light' that it was incredibly flimsy. It would wobble way too much when my cat was on the top level. I decided to give it away and buy a real sturdy one.

I have a close model from petco and I have never anchored it. I used to even have it by a window. It will move though if cats run and jump on it. It is one reason I moved it away from the window. I have fat cats. They aren't insanely huge but they are both large cats. It is against a wall and that is good enough. It slightly bangs sometimes but I would say it is stable. The top can be wobbly like someone else said. That is unrelated to anchoring it. You just have to tighten the screw sometimes.

I have this one for a year and had it anchored at first but it didn't really need one. It came off after a while but I think my cat likes the shaking, kind of like a real tree.
I really can't see it tipping over unless you have a very heavy cat that is very crazy
We have this with 5 kittens and 1 large cat. It cannot tip over. Also, it is very well constructed. Would buy again... if my wife forced me to have more cats.
My 20 pound cat loves this tower by our big window as he watches the birds and world go by!! We've had it for almost 7 years and it's still doing great! The top part does lean quite a bit when he's laying up there, but he's also 20 pounds, nothing will be strong enough for him! He also doesn't fit in the square thing but he enjoys all the other levels! I highly recommend this tower! And we never anchored it!
