Garbage food. Typical Purina

Questionable Ingredients
wheat gluten (cats are not cows)
corn oil (ditto)
carrageenan (not fit for human consumption)

Not to thread crap, but for this price range it'd be better to get Blue Buffalo Tastefuls Tender Morsels [amazon.com]. Much more nutritious.

Thanks cancelled my Purina and ordered the BB. There was a 25% coupon on the page and with 10% S&S it was $9.58. Thanks!

The ingredients are potentially harmful. Garbage.

"Degraded carrageenan, or poligeenan, is not safe to eat. Research in animals indicates that it causes gut tumors and ulcers, and may even trigger colon cancer." - https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/...7#research

And meat by-products. Also illegal to feed to humans.

It has slightly better ingredients but is less nutritious according to CatFoodDB.

Wheat gluten, meat by-products, corn starch-modified, artificial flavors, and chemical vitamin compounds can be nutritious as well. LMAOLMAOLMAO

Just so you know, cats are NOT humans. A human diet is NOT safe for cats. This cat food also doesn't contain by-products so I don't know your purpose for putting that there.

"...there is not enough evidence to draw conclusions about the exact health effects of carrageenan." - from the same exact link that you provided.

As of today, carrageenan is FDA approved.

Just a FYI, Blue Buffalo was caught lying about their ingredients in 2015.

I suggest you go back to the product page and reread the label again.

Your eyesight is failing... perhaps you're ingesting too much carrageenan... it's right there on the product page.
Water Sufficient for Processing, Salmon, Wheat Gluten, Chicken, Liver, Trout, Meat By-Products, Corn Starch-Modified, Artificial and Natural Flavors, Powdered Cellulose, Corn Oil....
LMAOLMAO

And the FDA approves a lot of unhealthy crap. It's still unfit for human consumption.

The possible side effects of consuming carrageenan include:

inflammation
bloating
irritable bowel syndrome and IBD
glucose intolerance
colon cancer
food allergies

By-Products aren't listed on the Chewy or Purina page so it may be outdated.
