I have a bunch of these in the house and they work well. However, the one issue I have with them is when installing them in a gang. Contrary to what they claim, these are not compatible with Lutron Decora screwless wall plates but they are compatible with standard screwed plates. So if you have a mix of singles, doubles, and triples, you have to use all screwed plates if you want consistency. This is not a big deal for most people I assume.

Also FYI, I normally buy all my Kasa switches as multipacks [amazon.com] from Amazon Warehouse for about $8 a piece.

You didn't say ANYTHING about changing the color of the bulb dude.

You're looking for a switch that controls the same fixture with a two color bulb that dims? Yeah, good luck with that.

I'd be interested to know if I'm doing something wrong. These switches have thick plastic ledges at either end compared to thin steel ones on standard switches. This means they sit more proud than a standard switch they are replacing. When you attach the backplate of a Decora screwless wall plate to the Kasa switch it does not sit flush on the wall so the front plate ends up having a gap around it. If you see what I mean. Smilie

I have several of these switches and they work great. We use them with the Kasa app and Google and really have no complaints. We even use them to turn on exterior lights on the house at sunset and we don't have to adjust the time throughout the year as daylight changes.

I have this and use the Alexa app. Works fine for the most part. Only a few times it has lost signal. Probably more when I don't notice. Could be my router, internet, or the device. But the same happens to my plugs too.

Random... I have a bunch of these. Sometimes the switch will randomly reset. I had about 10 of these at my old house and never experienced it. This house I have at least 15-20 of these. My porch light, office fan and bathroom fan all will randomly turn off and on or on and off for a second. I love the switches, just curious if anyone else has seen this?
